BOBBY WELLINS - Jazz  Saxophonist

Nigel Price has quickly established himself as one of the outstanding 'main players' on the London Jazzz scene and beyond. With an irrepressible entusiasm for everything he puts his mind to he is already a populat favourite on the jazz circuit. And not without reason, he has already won the British Jazz Awards for best guitarist as well as coming away with the award for best group in the Parliementary Jazz Awards, and boasts one of the longest sequential jazz tours in UK jazz history.

 

With his main influences being immediately apparent in the guitar greats tradition of Wes Mongommery and Grant Green.

Born in Surrey he took up guitar aged eleven moving onto Brighton on leaving school where he got involved in the local jazz scene and trained as an audio engineer. Abusy career subsequently as seen him as a mainstay of the Ronnie Scotts favourite artists.
